Eating and the Subconscious Mind

Perhaps you have lost weight in the past with conscious effort on a specific diet, but maybe as soon as you reached your goal or stopped focusing on your diet, you started eating again like you did before and fell into the old habits. The reason for it is because all habits are lodged in the subconsious mind - subconsceous eating impulses, over which the consceous mind - decisions has little nor lasting control.

A New Beginning with Hypnosis and Self - Hypnosis!

Unless you are overweight due to some physical malfunction the four most likely factors for the overweight are overeating, to many unhealthy food choices, lack of reasonable physical exercise, and emotional eating. At South Shore Hypnosis all of the above will be addressed and incorporated in the clients personalized program. 

We do not give or suggest a specific diet, the reason is that most people feel too regimented and deprived and all to often give up. Instead, we focus more on balanced, healthier food choices, reducing the portions and frequency of highly caloric foods. It needs to be kept in mind that slow reduction in weight of one to three pounds a week is the safest way and has the greatest chance for lasting success.

 Client Based Computer Analyzed Weight Loss Program

South Shore Hypnosis incorporates this most modern computer analyzed  program into the clients plan of action. For this the client is asked to fill out a questionnaire designed by Mottin & Johnson Institute of Hypnosis. It examines the clients feelings, emotions, habits and food cravings related to eating.The computer in turn prints out a detailed guide to be applied in the hypnosis session and in self-hypnois.

Erika holds a certificate of training from the Institute for the Client Based Weight Loss Program.

The commitment of the client in this joint effort is that he/she listens to their tapes and does the self hypnosis daily until the new changes have become a lasting habit.

Weight Reduction Program Options at Carolina's Hypnosis:

One Session Program: This private two hour session consists of pre-talk as to where the client needs help. A plan of action is developed and agreed upon. Self- Hypnosis is taught and the client is hypnotized. It also includes confidence building, self-love and some stress management.....

Four to Six Week Program : A detailed weight loss program is usually accomplished within four to six sessions on a weekly basis. The first session is 2 hours and the remainders are 90 minutes each. In these programs the Client Based Computerized Program is applied. In addition a variety of additional approaches are included as Self Confidence, Self Actualization, Stress Management, Anger Management, Acceptance and Self Love, Power of Forgiving, Inner Child Program, Getting Through and Parts Techniques, and Relationship Skills. Nutrition and alternatives are disgussed. Self Hypnosis is always enforced. Emotional Freedom Training (EFT-Tapping), is taught and practiced to help clear useless childhood imprints, negative emotions, worries, and self-sabotage.

Every client receives a recorded tape of his/her personalized session plus hand out literature for further conditioning.

Group Follow-Up Workshops: South Shore Hypnosis offers a small group follow up workshop on a bi-weekly basis. This program is for clients who have completed a private program of at least four sessions. Clients need to pre-register with a deposit of $20.00 for two workshops. The workshop includes self-hypnosis. The agenda will be structured to the groups needs. Clients can bring their own tape and recorder if they like to record the workshop.
